My initial reactions to this presently absurd story is pure frustration. In placing myself in the narrator’s shoes I would no doubt have felt puzzlement, annoyance, nagging fear and heated indignation in a continuous cycle. In all honesty if two plainclothes men without a warrant came to my apartment I would have left to spite their nonsensical claim to authority. In regards to the “warder” claims of him being arrested he truly is, not by being officially indicted by the authorities but by having his movments restrained by the sheer force of a martial presence. This is a truly strange enviornment to consider.
